Most coffee on the shelf doesn't tell you when it was roasted. Some of it sits in a warehouse for months before it gets to you. That's a big reason coffee tastes flat or bitter.

So we do it differently. Nothing gets roasted until you order it.

What happens when you order

Our partner roaster in California roasts your coffee, packs it, and ships it within 1 to 3 business days. No old inventory. No guessing how long it's been sitting around.

Why "Chicago"?

Chicago Roast started in the Chicago suburbs. The name is about the attitude, not where the beans are roasted: big shoulders, strong coffee, no fluff.
