1. Overview
chicagoroastcoffee.com is operated by Chicago Roast Coffee ("we," "us," "our"). By using this website or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Subscription Policy are part of these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Who can buy
You must be at least the age of majority where you live, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order. You agree that the information you give us at checkout is true and complete.
3. Our products
Our coffee is roasted to order by our partner roaster in California. Our merch is printed on demand by our print partner. We try to describe and photograph every product accurately, but coffee is an agricultural product, so flavor can vary a little from harvest to harvest, and colors can look different on different screens.
4. Caffeine, allergies and health
Our coffee and many of our teas contain caffeine. Our flavored coffees use natural flavorings, and our products may be packed in facilities that also handle other foods. If you have food allergies or sensitivities, are pregnant or nursing, or have a medical condition, please check with your doctor before drinking our products. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and can change at any time. If a product is listed at the wrong price because of an error, we may cancel orders placed at that price and refund you in full. Payments are processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.
6. Orders
We can refuse or cancel any order, including orders that look fraudulent, orders placed for resale, or orders affected by an error. If we cancel an order after you've been charged, we'll refund you in full.
7. Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically at the delivery frequency you choose, and we charge your payment method for each delivery until you cancel. You can skip, change or cancel anytime. Full details are in our Subscription Policy.
8. Discount codes
Discount codes can't be combined unless we say so, have no cash value, and may have minimum order amounts or other conditions shown with the offer. We can end or change a promotion at any time. Codes are limited to one use per customer unless stated otherwise.
9. Shipping and refunds
Shipping is covered in our Shipping Policy. Returns, replacements and refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.
10. Your account
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account.
11. Reviews and content you send us
If you send us a review, photo, comment or idea, you give us permission to use, display and share it on our website and social media. We won't change the meaning of your review. We only post real reviews from real customers. Please don't send anything that is false, offensive, or that you don't have the right to share.
12. Our content
The Chicago Roast Coffee name, logo, website design, text and images belong to us or our licensors. Please don't copy or use them without our written permission.
13. Third-party services and links
Our store runs on Shopify, and we use partners for payments, fulfillment, shipping and subscriptions. Links to other websites are for convenience only. We aren't responsible for third-party websites or services.
14. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the website and our products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind beyond those stated in our policies or required by law.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Chicago Roast Coffee will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim related to a product or order will not be more than the amount you paid for that product or order.
16. Indemnification
You agree to protect and hold harmless Chicago Roast Coffee from claims that come from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the website.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Using the site after an update means you accept the new Terms.
